WATCH PREDICTIVE TECHNIQUE
In an astrology class that I attended, I was introduced to this very interesting technique with reference to Shri E Saravanan who has authored the book Watch Predictive Technique (especially for Non-Astrologers).
This quick and easy technique works very well in the lack of access to or absence of the panchangam to determine a suitable muhurtham for an event. I have personally tried it in a couple of situations and was pleased with the outcomes – good and bad.
In this technique, the hour is derived to be the lagna (ascendant sign) and the minutes the moon sign on the Vedic chart.
By determining the relationship (1 / 1, 2 / 12, 5 / 9 etc.) between the lagna and the moon sign, we can then make instant predictions for everyday activities.
I have created the embedded MS Excel file above to help the non-astrologer find appropriate timings for important activities/events.
You can select the hour and minutes (in multiples of 5 mins) and determine the result of an event/activity.
Or simply key in the hour and minutes for any specific timing to determine the expected result.
Scroll to the right of the embedded file to view the favourable and unfavourable timings for every 5 minutes of the selected hour.
TIP: The preceding 5 minutes to the top of the hour will yield the same results – and that gives you a 10-minute window of the expected result. e.g. 12:00 and 11:55 both result as Excellent; similarly 02:00 and 01:55 will share the same result.
Enjoy planning for success with this method.
Also a gentle reminder not to obsess over fitting every single event in this method.
Living in the moment and free-will still play key roles in our everyday lives…
Gratitude to Shri Ramesh Chockalingam for introducing this concept in class.
